“The Roost” is a cosy and comfortable self-contained studio flat

With a double bed at one end (or two singles with prior arrangement and $50 surcharge) and a kitchenette with lounge at the other, you’ll have everything you need to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

A generous breakfast is supplied for your first morning which includes fresh fruit, muesli, milk, tea and coffee. Extra food supplies are available from nearby supermarkets in Ouyen and Hopetoun.

Access

You are welcome to wander around and explore our 50 acre property (except sheds and house yard) and the adjoining road reserves. The abundant native trees and plants attract a wide range of birds, animals and insects. Bring your camera and binoculars to make the most of your time in this special spot!

Local expertise

We live permanently onsite and will be available during your stay to happily answer any questions and give you hot tips on places to explore and things to see in the area.

General info

Unfortunately we cannot allow pets to stay on our property (apart from guide dogs and service dogs).

The nearest supermarkets are in Ouyen and Hopetoun (both about 30 minutes drive away). Fuel and basic food supplies are available in the Patchewollock shop, about 10 minutes drive away. Patche shop opening hours are weekdays 8.30am - 4pm, Saturday 10am - 3pm, Sunday 10am - 2pm.

Cost - $130 per night (inc GST), minimum 2 night stay.
