As the weather warms up our bird baths are becoming more popular. Most afternoons a flock of Blue Bonnets come in to bathe and drink before sunset, and we’re lucky enough to spy on them as we eat our dinner!

Explore the Mallee is a local eco-tourism business run by Louise Nicholas and Michael Gooch. Based in Patchewollock, Victoria, our aim is to attract visitors to the Mallee and to promote the stunning natural beauty of the area.

We acknowledge the Wotjobaluk, Jaadwa, Jadawadjali, Wergaia and Jupagalk peoples of the Wotjobaluk Nations, the First Peoples of the Wotjobaluk Country where we live and work. We respect and acknowledge their Elders, past and present.
